Dental Scan Ltd Terms and Conditions
- Scan reports, 3D reconstruction services, nerve segmentation, custom 3D reconstruction services, panoramic reconstructions, data networking and any other services provided by Dental Scan LTD are delivered, as is, without warranty, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, as to any matter whatsoever, including without limitation, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Dental Scan LTD makes no warranty as to the sufficiency or suitability of said services and does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or correctness of the services. The results must be verified by a medical doctor to ensure accuracy before being used and compared to the medical images provided. In no event will Dental Scan LTD be liable to anyone for action taken in connection with the use of said services.
- Dental Scan LTD only accepts referrals from medical practitioners registered on our online platform.
- Medical practitioners must provide a clinical justification for each CBCT scan under IR(ME)R 2017 and SI 478 of 2002, which is recorded via the 3Beam Limited booking form on the online platform.
- Dental Scan LTD endeavours to provide the highest quality results, however, 3Beam Limited will not accept any liability for incorrect or incomplete information provided upon booking patients via the online portal, or inappropriate or inadequate patient preparation, which may compromise the quality of the final results.
- Dental Scan LTD do not report on CBCT scans or radiographs as a matter of standard procedure. The referring medical practitioner accepts responsibility for making arrangements for all scans to be interpreted and reported on. Upon request, Dental Scan LTD can arrange for CBCT scans or radiographs to be reported on by a consultant radiologist. In accepting responsibility to report on CBCT scans or radiographs, the referring medical practitioner is also accepting the responsibility to ensure that they are competent and adequately trained to do so, and that their training remain current.
- Dental Scan LTD works to provide the final images to the referring medical practitioner swiftly, however, equipment malfunction or workflow issues may cause delays. Dental Scan LTD may reserve the right not to accept referrals in such cases.
- Dental Scan LTD Limited will not accept any liability for consequential losses arising from delays whether because of late or non-payment, workflow issues, or for any other reason.
- Dental Scan LTD recommends that scan results are initially received before scheduling an appointment to discuss the results with the referred patient.
- Dental Scan LTD cannot guarantee that computer-readable images will be compatible with your computer system.
