Dental Scan Ltd Terms and Conditions

  • Dental Scan Ltd provides services to assist professionals with a GDC/GMC number, indiagnosis and treatment planning. Image interpretation, diagnosis, advice and treatment is the responsibility of the referring professional.
  • The referrer accepts responsibility for making arrangements for all X-ray imaging to be interpreted. Radiology reports can be ordered through Dental Scan Ltd, but are provided under the named Radiologist’s professional responsibility, not under the responsibility of Dental Scan Ltd.
  • Dental Scan Ltd endeavours to provide the highest quality results, however Dental Scan Ltd will not accept any liability for incorrect or incorrect information provided on the referral, or inappropriate or inadequate patient preparation which may compromise the quality of the final results.
  • Dental Scan Ltd endeavours to provide images to the referrer and/or the patient as soon as possible, however equipment malfunction, for example may introduce delays. Dental Scan Ltd reserves the right not to accept referrals in such cases.
  • Dental Scan Ltd will not accept any liability for consequential losses arising from delays whether because of late or non-payment, workflow issues, or for any other reason.
  • Patients who are self-paying for the service that Dental Scan Ltd provides, need to settle their payment on the day of their appointment. If not, delay in the receiving the imaging results will occur.
  • For referrers, Dental Scan Ltd standard payment terms are 30 days. Late payment will incur late payment charges and debt recovery.
