Diagnostic Radiographer

Full-time/Part-time, Salary £27,000 – £38,000pcm

We have an exciting opportunity for a dental radiographer to join our forward-thinking and friendly team at Dental Scan in Harley Street. Our company is based in Marylebone and has a great culture and atmosphere. The area is best known for medical and dental fields as well as social gatherings.

Dental radiographic experience is desirable but there is also an opportunity to learn dental and maxillo-facial radiographic techniques. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary to deliver an outstanding clinical service.

Knowledge and Qualifications:

BSc or Diploma in Radiography
State Registration
Evidence of relevant specialist post-degree or diploma courses for Continuing Professional Development
Experience
Evidence of ability to critically analyse radiographs
Evidence of participation in QA
Demonstrate awareness of responsibility to and advocacy for patients
Very high personal and radiographic standards, with attention to detail

Dental Nurse

Full-time/Part-time

Salary £25,000 – £35,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a dental nurse to join our forward-thinking and friendly team at Dental Scan in London. You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary to deliver an outstanding dental radiology clinical service.

Main Duties

To undertake digital impressions using the latest iTero intraoral scanner.
To act as Operator, taking OPG and Cephalometric x-ray examinations as defined in IR(ME)R 2018 and local protocols.
To undertake reception and administrative duties.
Maintain a high imaging standard taking every reasonable opportunity to maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence.
Develop and maintain good productive relationships with colleagues and referrers, and to be responsive to their queries.
Participate in the Quality Assurance, Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Audit Programmes.
Demonstrate clinical practice with high degree of professional autonomy and develop the ability to challenge clinical judgements and critical decisions affecting the patient’s diagnosis and treatment.
Establish and maintain a professional interest in teaching and learning.
