Dental Scan aims to deliver a bespoke service to clinicians and patients by using our extensive knowledge within the dental field and patient care. We have a vast amount of experience working with renowned dental hospitals and highly reputable dentists.
We are situated in Harley Street, Marylebone which is recognised for its speciality in medicine and dentistry.
Alexander Woodham

Alex qualified as a diagnostic radiographer from St George’s, University of London in 2004. He worked at St George’s Hospital, London in general radiography before taking on a senior specialist role in dental radiography in 2008 at Guy’s Hospital, London. Here, he undertook postgraduate studies in dental and maxillofacial radiography. In 2011 he became Lead Radiographer at CT Dent, later becoming managing director and the CQC registered manager.
Throughout his career he has gained extensive clinical and managerial experience and has been involved with teaching dental radiography techniques and image interpretation at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He was a co-editor of the 2017 CT Dent publication ‘Pathology, Anatomic Variants and Anomalies as Seen on Cone Beam CT’. He is registered with the HCPC and is a member of the British Society of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology (BSDMFR), European Academy of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology (EADMFR) and International Association of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology (IADMFR).
Alex is a co-founder and clinical director of Dental Scan, using his experience to deliver outstanding clinical care and help develop the technology of tomorrow.
Kfir Y Atias

Kfir is an entrepreneur and holds many interests in a variety of business ventures. After qualifying in Mechanical Engineering (MSc) he began to pursue his real passion and interest in new technologies and start-up companies.
He is also the Founder, ex-shareholder and ex-CEO of CT Dent Ltd established in 2007. His vision to grow in the UK led to the opening of a further 6 imaging centres with a referral base of over 10,000 dental practices. Due to his vast knowledge and experience of 15 years in CBCT technology in dentistry, and his previous successes, Kfir is proud to introduce Dental Scan.
Dental Scan is fresh, innovative and above all uses the latest technological advancements to offer the highest standard of services to practitioners.
Kfir was a co-editor of the 2017 CT Dent publication ‘Pathology, Anatomic Variants and Anomalies as Seen on Cone Beam CT’. In addition, he is currently co-developing artificial intelligence (AI) software with a range of services including ID canal detection, bone segmentation and AI dental radiology reports.
Parveen Purewal

Parveen has qualified with an MSC in New Technologies and Media in 2003 from Brunel University, London. She has since developed a career and gained extensive knowledge in various Sales roles in a wide range of Industries. These include Software and Hardware, Recruitment, Dental Laboratories, Imaging and Medical Devices.
Parveen has progressed to Senior levels of Management during this period which has involved managing a team of sales representatives and implementing training programmes. In addition, she has partaken in the role of key speaker on specific courses to increase sales and raise awareness for a variety of companies.
Parveen aims to strive in any given role, is able to create rapport with individuals at any level and build great relationships by providing a high level of care to her clients.
Prof. Douglas K Benn

Professor Douglas Benn, BDS (U Lond), PhD (U Lond), Dip Dental Radiology (Royal College of Radiologists) trained in London as a dentist and maxillofacial radiologist before working as Professors of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at University of Florida and Creighton University. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the peer reviewed journal Dentomaxillofacial Radiology of the International Association of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. He has published 60 referred research papers as well as receiving research funding from the National Institutes of Health, USA for Artificial Intelligence applications in clinical imaging and Caries diagnosis.
Marios Tserkezos

Marios is a results-oriented professional who has completed a BSc in Business Management from the University of Brighton and an MSc in Marketing from Queen Mary University of London.
He has experience in executing measurable marketing campaigns and has done so in the past for leading online media publishing companies before joining Dental Scan. His knowledge in Technical SEO, Social Media Marketing and Analytics mixed with his creative drive allow him to build Dental Scan’s brand image online and offline.
