Allows you to plan your patient’s treatment easily, with a full implant library and free virtual implant placement capabilities. Our clinical team will prepare a study that includes: a panoramic curve, custom reconstructed 3D, highlighting the inferior dental canal, and image rotation according to the area of interest.
Findings:
- The UL8 has three approximated roots with taurodont morphology (furcation is at the middle of the root) and they are palatally inclined (image 2).
- The maxillary sinus floor is elevated and contacts the UL8 apices and the buccal surface of the roots indicating an intimate relationship between them (image 2).
- Distal periodontal bone loss is extending to the middle of the roots (image 2).
- The remaining teeth imaged show no periapical pathology with normal periodontal bone levels.
- An incidental finding is noted in the right anterior nasal cavity. On the medial wall of the right anterior nasal cavity, anterior to the nasolacrimal canal, there is a rounded, well demarcated, corticated mixed radio density lesion which measures an approximately 7mm x 6mm x 5mm (image 3).
- The features are in keeping with a benign fibre-osseous lesion such as an ossifying fibroma.
- There are no concerning features. The differential diagnosis includes an unusual calcification of a foreign body if there is any such previous history of dislodging a foreign body into the nose. ENT referral is advised for second opinion and management.
